18th: JKS in SMAPxSMAP
Actor Jang Geun Suk recently appeared on the set of Japan’s Fuji TV popular program, “SMAPxSMAP” and met the members of SMAP. Top Korean celebrities have previously been featured on “SMAPxSMAP”, such as Jang Dong Gun, Lee Young Ae, Kwon Sang Woo, Lee Byung Hun, BoA, Ahn Jung Hwan, and the main cast of “Boys Before Flowers“.
The shoot which took place on June 29th was kept top secret, as Jang Geun Suk was visiting Japan for the release of his first official photo collection. Jang Geun Suk was featured on the program’s cooking competition corner, ‘Bistro SMAP‘, and displayed his humor and charm.
Jang Geun Suk maintained a lively atmosphere throughout the shoot by dancing with the SMAP members, and it’s reported by the staff that the atmosphere peaked when Jang Geun Suk praised Takuya Kimura’s dishes by repeatedly commenting, “delicious!”, in Japanese.
The main producer of “SMAPxSMAP” commented, “the SMAP members did not hide their anticipation to meet Jang Geuk Suk. Jang Geuk Suk seemed to focus on reacting throughout the entire shoot and the atmosphere during the shoot was great” revealing his satisfaction with the filming. The episode of “SMAPxSMAP” in which Jang Geun Suk is featured will air through Japan’s Fuji TV on July 18th.In related news, Jang Geuk Suk has recently finished his Asian tour and is planning to focus on filming the movie, “You’re My Pet”, which is scheduled to premiere this fall.
